The "true green" ideal in my industry, is to stop pests before they ever get started. Prevention is the only completely green form of pest control. Prevention requires no pesticides, commercial or otherwise, which means that no fossil fuel is spent to harvest, ship, process, package, advertise, display, store, purchase, transport, or apply! For this reason it is the first step in any truly green system for pest control!

The ones that got away

There are usually some pests that get through our toughest prevention methods. If you have used good methods, and proper implementation, the number of pest that get through your line of defense will be few. There are now some organic and natural, the term should be "botanical" products on the market that do a great job in treating the pests that we have as a result of our missing a step, or conditions beyond our control.
